Create multiple cards for a complete wedding ensemble with Hero Arts stamps and inks.

Additional Materials:

Instructions:

Large Wedding Card

  1. Stamp the Crown Collage image with Soft Sand ink onto a White Notecard.
  2. Shade areas of the crown with a color pencil that is a little darker than the ink color.
  3. Wrap the card with ribbon tied in a bow.
  4. Add Art Flowers and Small and Medium Accent Pearls to finish.

Response Card

  1. Cut a White Notecard in half to create a mini card.
  2. Stamp the Misty Floral and Crown Pattern image with Soft Sand ink onto the mini card.
  3. Add Small Accent Pearls to finish.
  4. Congratulations Gift Tag

Cut a White Notecard in half to create a mini card.

  1. Stamp the Royal Crown image with Soft Sand ink randomly on the upper portion of the card.
  2. Add a strip of corrugated paper to the bottom edge of the card.
  3. Stamp the “Congratulations” message from the All Occasion Messages set with Walnut Stain Distress ink onto a strip of from a White Notecard. Affix to the card.
  4. Wrap the card with a ribbon tied in a bow.
  5. Add an Art Flower, a Card Button and Small Accent Pearls to finish.

Wedding Scrapling

  1. Use scraps of cardstock to create a Scrapling (1.25″ x 4.25″).
  2. Stamp the Royal Crown image with Soft Sand ink on the top portion of the Scrapling.
  3. Wrap a ribbon around and tie in a bow.
  4. Finish by adding a small Art Flower and a Small Accent Pearl.

Tip:

Cut cards in half and use scraps to create mini cards for wedding gift tags and response cards.

Additional Materials:

  • Ribbon
  • Japanese Screw Punch

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the owl onto white card stock with black ink, color with pencils and cut out (omitting legs).
  2. Trace the cut out owl onto white card stock. Draw accessories to fit the image. Outline the accessories with a Permawriter pen. Color with pencils and cut out.
  3. Trace the cut out owl onto black card stock and create the jacket.
  4. Assemble the pieces to the backside of the owl, add button on the jacket.
  5. Affix the owl to a cut piece of Wisteria card stock. Wrap with orange ribbon.
  6. Punch small holes in a black note card to create evening stars.
  7. Affix the owl panel to the card.

Tip:

Hand draw a hair line, bolts, and big boots for accessories. When cutting them out, leave extended tabs so they can be easily adhered to the backside of the owl.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the owl onto white card stock with black ink. Draw a hat with a Permawriter pen. Color with pencils and cut out.
  2. Draw a pair of shoes, color and cut out. Affix to the back of the owl.
  3. Add a strand of pearls at the neckline and small paper flowers on the hat.
  4. Stamp the inside of a Mocha card with the Wavy Leaf pattern in pink ink.
  5. Punch a large circle in the Mocha card.
  6. Affix the owl in place.

Tip:

Sketch accessories with pencil before using the Permawriter pen.

Use the Big Owl and Design Block Line and Flower Pattern stamps to create a multi-purpose card, good for any occasion!

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the Big Owl image with Memories Black Ink on the front of a Lagoon Notecard. Then stamp the big owl again on white cardstock. Color the big owl that was stamped on white cardstock with pencils, then cut out the body (not the feet). Adhere in place on the card.
  2. To make grass, stamp the DesignBlock Line and Flower Pattern on a Green Apple Notecard with olive chalk ink. Cut out to create “blades” of grass. Adhere to the card.
  3. Create a flower stem by stamping the DesignBlock Line and Flower Pattern with olive on a scrap from a Green Apple Notecard. Cut out one of the lines.
  4. Punch out a small circle from Cantaloupe Notecard and adhere it to the center of a red Art Flower. Adhere the flower and stem so that it looks like the owl is holding it.
  5. Adhere two more Art Flowers to the card, then add punched circles for centers.
  6. Add Orange Gemstones to the flower centers and the flowers in the grass.
  7. Tie on the twine. Tip: cut a small slit in the fold of the card with a craft knife and run the twine through it.

Variation:

For a quick card with no coloring, stamp the Big Owl on a Kraft Notecard.

Tip:

Stamp a message inside to suit the occasion!

Instructions:

  1. Stamp Bird on a Branch with baby blue ink on white cardstock and trim, leaving a border.
  2. Stamp flower border from the Clear Design Happy Hello set with red ink on a Strawberry strip.
  3. Stamp “what’s up?” from the Clear Design Happy Hello set with black ink on a white strip.
  4. Trim a Green Apple strip and a text strip, then assemble card as shown.
  5. Stamp owl with black ink on white, color with pencils and cut out. Add to card with foam tape.
  6. Rub chalk inks in coordinating colors on Art Flowers to distress them.
  7. Add smooth yellow gems, smooth clear gems and Art Flowers to card.

Tip:

Mix and match bold and outline stamps for a playful look.

Instructions:

Brighter Scrapbook Layout

  1. Punch large circles from a variety of colorful notecards.
  2. Stamp the Design Block background images as well as the “life is brighter” message from the Sky’s the Limit set with Versamark ink and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder.
  3. Add to a white background. Mat with pink.
  4. Add a photo and Medium Accent Pearls.

Beautiful Day Card

  1. Punch three circles from colored notecards.
  2. Stamp backgrounds with Versamark ink and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder.
  3. Adhere to a Green Notecard that has been cut in half.
  4. Stamp the “have a beautiful day” greeting with Versamark ink and heat emboss with white.
  5. Add an Art Flower and Medium Accent Pearls.

Floral Card

  1. On a Peony Notecard, stamp the Scattered Flower image with Versamark ink and white heat emboss.
  2. Trim and round the corners. Add to Pink Notecard along with a strip cut from a Green Notecard.
  3. Add sewing machine stitching.
  4. Round the corners.

Variation:

Try embossing with clear powder instead for a more subtle look.

Tip:

Due to the large size of the DesignBlock images, they offer a fun way to cover lots of punched pieces at once.

Challenge yourself to keep it simple by limiting your card to one layer.

Instructions:

  1. Trim a 1 ¼ inches from the bottom of a Lemon note card making it square.
  2. Tie ribbon and adhere it to the front of the card.
  3. Stamp wood grain circle on Kraft card stock and cut out. Mat with a white scalloped circle. Use a marker to add dots to the center of each scallop. Add to the center of the card’s front.
  4. Stamp Wooden Doll in brown ink on white card stock. Color with color pencils, cut out, and add to the card front.
  5. Stamp the words ‘hi’ and ‘sally’ with the letters from the Small Variety Alphabet.
  6. Embellish with gems and gem blossoms.

Tip:

Connecting the letters is a breeze since the stamps are clear.

Use your creativity to super size a stamped image.

  • Grunge Paper

Instructions:

  • Stamp the image on a transparency, place it on a projector and enlarge it to desired size. (Here shown at 4″x5″)
  • Loosely draw the enlarged image, cut the image into different pieces then trace the cut pieces with a ruler to get some nice straight lines.
  • Retrace the new straight images onto the Tim Holtz grunge board and cut them out
  • Paint everything except the dormer white.
  • Add texture by stamping the door with the Woodgrain stamp and emboss the body of the house with a Cuttlebug template.
  • Add color with distress inks. Sand in random places gave the house some more character and glued it all down with Glossy Accents.
  • Add some scraps of stamped paper to serve as wall papers in the window squares.
  • Add lace to the back windows on the house.

Tip:

Add texure to your cards for added interest.

You Mean So Much

  1. Punch out a large scallop from white cardstock and stamp the Screen Shadow image as a background with Soft Blossom Shadow Ink.
  2. Stamp the “You Mean So Much” message from the Great Flourishes Messages set twice in ArtPrint Brown ink. Add an Art Flower with a Sparkle Gem Small Blossom in the middle. Add some Pale Pink Gemstones.
  3. Cut a strip from a Peony Notecard (from the Blush set) and mount onto a strip cut from a Chocolate Notecard.
  4. Mount all onto a Kraft Notecard.

Thank You

  1. Stamp the Flower Background image in ArtPrint Brown ink onto a Peony Notecard.
  2. Stamp the “Thank You” image from the Great Flourishes Messages set in brown ink onto a strip from a Baby Blue Notecard.
  3. Cut a zig-zag edge from a Kraft Notecard.
  4. Adhere all onto the Peony card. Add a scallop circle punched from a Chocolate Notecard.
  5. Add a circle punched from a Crimson Notecard to the center of the scallop circle with a Sparkle Gem Small Blossom in the center of that.
  6. Add Pale Pink Gemstones.

You Are Special

  1. Stamp the “You Are Special” message in ArtPrint Brown onto a beige tag. Stamp “You Mean So Much” on the edges.
  2. Mount onto a piece of a Chocolate Notecard.
  3. Stamp the Flower Background image onto a Kraft Notecard.
  4. Punch a hole and tie a ribbon through it. Adhere to the card. Add an Art Flower and a Card Button.

Thinking of You

  1. Cut out a tag from white cardstock. Stamp the Screen Shadow background in ArtPrint Brown ink on the bottom. Stamp again without inking on top for a muted look.
  2. Punch out a scallop edge from a Kraft Notecard and adhere.
  3. Stamp words onto pieces from a Crimson Notecard. Trim and mount. Add an Art Flower and Pale Pink Gemsstones.
  4. Tie a ribbon and mount the tag to a Pink Notecard.

Tip:

Kraft Notecards will bring balance to many color palettes. They compliment a variety of colors, and are perfect as either a card base or as an accent.
