Include a family photo on a special card.

Hero Materials:

  • K5153 Heart Flourish
  • CH117 Assorted Crystal Gemstones
  • CL276 So Sweet
  • AF101 Black Ink Pad
  • LL761 Printer’s Type Alphabet
  • LL762 Printer’s Type Lowercase Alphabet

Additional Materials:

  • Photo
  • Corner Rounder (Fiskars)
  • Cardstock

Instructions:

  1. On a White Notecard, stamp the Heaert Flourish image with soft blue ink repeatedly.
  2. Mat the photo on a White notecard and trim. Create another mat with green cardstock, leaving extra room at the bottom.
  3. On a blue cardstock strip, stamp the message using letters from the Printer’s Type Alphabets in black ink. Add to the card with pop dots.
  4. With green ink, stamp heart image from the So Sweet set along the bottom of the green.
  5. On additional green cardstock, stamp three more green hearts. Cut out and attach with pop dots as shown.
  6. Add Assorted Crystal Gemstones.

Variation:

Instead of stamping heart accents, try using Hero Arts Card Buttons as an embellishment.

More Resources Tip:

To avoid mistakes, try alphabet stamping on a cardstock strip and adhering to the card instead of stamping directly onto the card.

Heart Flourish Tag By Sally Traidman

This tag is so elegant and easy to create, you’ll want to stamp several to have on hand for gift giving.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the Heart Flourish image in green ink on a Cream Notecard.
  2. Punch a hole at the top of the tag and add a white circle.
  3. Tie a ribbon and add Art Flowers with a brad.

Dad won’t be able to resist feeling special when he receives this unique card. The resist technique featured is relatively simple but packs a big punch.

Instructions:

  1. Cut a piece of cream paper and round corners.
  2. Stamp flourish with Versamark and clear heat emboss.
  3. Rub various Distress Inks over the embossing, blending completely.
  4. Stamp greeting with brown ink on ledger paper. Round corners and rub edges with Distress Ink.
  5. Stamp wood grain with green ink on green notecard.
  6. Assemble as shown. Add buttons and stitching.

Tip

Use tissue to wipe ink from embossed area if necessary.

Instructions:

Thinking of You

  1. Stamp the CardArt Thinking of You image in Black StazOn Ink on an Acetate Card. Alternatively, stamp it on the paper listed in the next step and adhere the acetate over the top of the stamped piece.
  2. Trim and mount over patterned paper.
  3. Mount onto a White Notecard. Add Yellow Gemstones.

Happy Wishes

  1. Stamp the CardArt Happy Wishes image with Black Ink on soft patterned paper. Trim and adhere to a Baby Blue Notecard.
  2. Cut strips of lightly patterned paper. Adhere above and below the CardArt stamped piece.
  3. Add blue strips and scallop edge (cut out of a Cream Notecard).
  4. Finish with sewing.
  5. Add Card Buttons with string.

Variation:

Create your own patterned paper! For the strips on the Happy Wishes card, take a Lime Notecard, stamp the F4784 Swirly Dot Border repeatedly with Bamboo Ink. For the Thinking of You card, stamp a pattern of flowers using any flower stamp or a flower background.

Tip:

Use your leftover scrapbooking paper underneath the clear acetate or above and below the happy wishes card for a subtle pattern.

Create a simple and elegant card that’s fit for a princess!

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the Fancy Dress image in black ink on a Blossom Notecard. Shade with color pencils.
  2. Cut out and add Assorted Crystal Gemstones, Small Accent Pearls, sequins and a bow.
  3. Stamp the “You sparkle” message froom the You Sparkle set in black ink on a Cream Notecard.
  4. Mount the dress piece with foam tape.

Tip:

Imagine this dress stamped on white and adorned with pearls and a bit of tulle — here comes the bride!

  • Circle Punch

Instructions:

  1. Cut a pink card to 4 1/4″ square.
  2. Stamp the message and dress onto scrap white cardstock. Color with pencils and cut out.
  3. Cut a strip of bright pink cardstock and use with an embossing folder. Affix to the card.
  4. Punch a circle from black cardstock, affix to the card.
  5. Adhere the message and dress in place.

Tip:

  • Sand the dots of the embossed paper to create more depth.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the Misty Floral and Crown Pattern with Soft Pool ink onto white cardstock. Trim
  2. Stamp the message with brown ink.
  3. Cut pieces of pattern paper and affix to a Kraft notecard framing the stamped image.
  4. Cut a strip of scallop edge paper and affix to the card.
  5. Machine stitch if desired.

Tip:

Use a pin and white pen to make faux stitching if a machine is not available.

Garden of Buttons and Gems

  1. Stamp the flower images from the Pop Art Design set in black ink on various colors of notecards. Shade with color pencils. Punch out circles. Punch out scallops in coordinating and mount onto a Long Notecard in White.
  2. Stamp the stem and leaf portion of the Cutout Flower image in green ink on a Green Apple Notecard. Cut out.
  3. Arrange the “garden” of flowers with foam tape.
  4. Add Gemstones and Sparkle Gems Blossoms.

Circles of Color

  1. Stamp all Pop Art designs in black ink on various colors of Notecards.
  2. Punch out with a circle punch.
  3. Add embellishments Card Buttons, brads, Gemstones, Sparkle Gems, etc.) and arrange in a pleasing fashion.

Tip:

Once you start decorating circles you won’t want to stop, so why not make a set of these notecards to give as a gift?

Create simple elegance with two wonderfully detailed stamps.

Additional Materials:

  • Pattern Paper (Bo Bunny)
  • Sewing Machine (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cut strips from a Kraft Notecard and assorted pattern paper. Affix to an Okra Notecard. Machine stitch as desired.
  2. Stamp the Scallop Flourish image with Soft Pool ink onto a White Notecard and cut out.
  3. Stamp the Cutout Flower image with gold and olive pastel ink onto a White Notecard and cut out.
  4. Mount the scallop and flower pieces to the card.

Tip:

Ink the stem of the flower first, wiping off any green ink from the flower petals before inking with yellow.

Accent a colorful card with matching gems.

  • Glitter pens

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the French Country image with black ink on a White Notecard. Add the “hello” greeting from the All Occasion Messages set to the center. Color with pencils.
  2. Trim and mat on a Dark Cherry Notecard and trim. Add to a Wisteria Notecard and trim off excess.
  3. Add Lavender Gemstones.
  4. Color over the flowers with a clear glitter pen.

Variation:

If you don’t have a glitter pen, add sparkle with Stickles.

Tip:

Try making this card in various color combinations. The possibilities are endless.
