Additional Materials:

  • Red permanent marker (Bic)
  • Pop Dots

Instructions:

  1. Stamp Kanji Poem with Soft Pool ink on a pool rectangle. Layer to hyacinth and then a crimson notecard.
  2. Cut stems and leaves from a hyacinth notecard and glue in place.
  3. Trim two petals from a red Summer Felt Flower and adhere in place.
  4. Add a white Neutral Felt Button. Color two Smooth Gemstones red with a red permanant marker and add to the white Neutral Felt Button.
  5. Stamp doll with black ink on a white cardstock scrap, color with pencils and cut out. Curve the doll around your finger to add dimension, then adhere with a pop dot. Add a gem.
  6. Stamp sentiment.

Tip:

Trim felt flowers with scissors to create new shapes.

Additional Materials:

  • 1 1/4″ and 1″ circle punches (EK Success)
  • Cardstock
  • Sewing Machine
  • Colored Pencils

Instructions:

  1. Stamp faces on white cardstock with black ink. Add coloring with pencils.
  2. Punch circles around the faces. Mat with dark brown circles.
  3. On light brown piece, stamp background with brown ink. Add a large mat with dark brown piece. Add sewing.
  4. Stamp background with Soft Blossom Ink on pink notecard.
  5. Adhere assembled stamped piece on notecard.
  6. Stamp greeting with brown ink.
  7. Add gems to faces, coloring with a yellow permanent marker, if desired.
  8. If desired, add a bit to the mouths of the faces, make a bit of a smile, with a black pen.

Variation:

This style card can be used with any color combination!

Tip:

You can easily alter stamped images with a black pen. Here, I made the faces smile by adding to their mouths.

  3. Glue strip of Washi paper on bottom. Mount all onto pink and trim. Mount onto green card. Add gems.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp boy in black on white cardstock. Cut out. Stamp again on wisteria and cut out clothes portion. Ink flower background in dahlia and stamp onto clothes. Adhere to boy.
  2. Stamp writing on white cardstock with black ink. Stamp words. Add chalk in a golden color. Adhere to brown card.
  3. Mount boy to cardfront. Stamp package and cut out and mount. Add cheek color with chalk. Add gems.

Tip:

Many stamp images make great patterns for clothing!

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the “Wallpaper Flowers” image twice along the top of a blue notecard (extending past the edges) using VersaMark. Top with white embossing powder and heat set.
  2. Stamp the sentiment onto kraft colored patterned paper using VersaMark. Top with white embossing powder, heat set, trim to size, and adhere 1/2″ from the bottom of the card.
  3. Adhere a white scalloped edge directly below the patterned paper, followed by a thin strip of green cardstock to cover the seam between the two. Add a machine stitching detail.
  4. Adhere a width of ribbon above the sentiment.
  5. Embellish card with coordinating buttons tied on with embroidery floss.

Tip:

Because VersaMark can be very difficult to see, especially on light colored backgrounds, you may wish to add the embossing powder and heat set before stamping the second “Wallpaper Flowers” image. This will make repositioning the stamp much easier, creating a seamless pattern.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp Make a Wish messages in black ink on white card stock. Stamp again in black on pink. Cut out words only from white. Mount onto pink. Trim edges and mount to Cantaloupe card.
  2. Stamp candles in Crimson, Sherbet, and Blossom card stock. Stamp the flame image on white and color with marker.
  3. Mount and embellish with Pink gemstones.

Tip:

This make a wish message makes a great card in five minutes…make a bunch in different colors!

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the birthday message with black ink three times, once on white, again on pink and lastly on lime cardstock.
  2. Cut out the entire image from the lime cardstock.
  3. Cut out the message omitting the outside border from the white.
  4. Cut out just the Happy Birthday strip from the pink.
  5. Stack the message back together and adhere in place.
  6. Stamp the crown on white cardstock, color with pencils and trim.
  7. Wrap green ribbon around a pink notecard and secure with a knot. Tie on a button with string.
  8. Adhere the message and crown to the card.
  9. Add stickles and pearls to the crown to finish.

Tip:

Layer the same image with a combination of color cardstock.

Instructions:

  1. Using Soft Pool ink, stamp Raindrop background on the top two thirds of a Baby Blue card and Houndstooth Background on the bottom third. Be careful not to overlap too much.
  2. Using a green ink, stamp Make a Wish Messages on Lime cardstock and trim off the border. Attach it to a slightly larger piece of white card stock.
  3. Isolating the words Happy Birthday on the fourth line, stamp the message stamp again on blue pattern paper. (Use tape to cover the surrounding areas you don’t want inked up. Ink the words. Remove the tape before stamping.) Trim a 4 ¼” long strip.
  4. Place the strip so that it covers the same words on the green piece. Adhere it all to the card front so that the strip covers the area where the two backgrounds come together. Add three smooth gemstones to the strip.
  5. Stamp the owl on the blue and yellow pattern papers and again on white cardstock. Cut out the wings from the blue, the eyes from the white and adhere them to the yellow owl. Add the tan pattern to the owl’s belly.
  6. Using a white Sharpie pen, add a white dot to the Midnight Black Accent Pearls for the eyes.
  7. Further embellish the owl with a flower made from a Felt flower a smooth pearl and string.

Tip:

Highlight a portion of a multi message stamp by stamping it again in a different color and layering it on top.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp Butterfly Garden on white cardstock in black ink. Color with colored pencils.
  2. Stamp message just below the Butterfly Garden image. Trim and round corners.
  3. Stamp flourish on the green card and on a purple strip with VersaMark.
  4. Add brads to the purple strip and assemble as shown.

Tip:

Keep the coloring simple by limiting the number of colors you choose.

Instructions:

  1. Trim a white notecard to a square shape.
  2. Stamp Butterfly Garden onto a piece of Peony cardstock with Versamark ink, top with white embossing powder and heat emboss. Adhere to white notecard.
  3. Add a strip of yellow patterned paper as shown.
  4. Stamp Butterfly Garden onto Blossom cardstock with dark pink ink, round corners, and adhere next to yellow strip.
  5. Stamp Butterfly Garden again onto Blossom cardstock with dark pink ink and cut out a single butterfly. Glue on top of white embossed butterfly on Peony layer.
  6. Zig-zag stitch on a thin strip of Lagoon cardstock and adhere across card. Add a Green Apple strip below.
  7. Stamp “Thank You” onto a small scrap of grid paper with dark pink ink. Adhere as shown.
  8. Finish card with a yellow art flower and button tied with floss.

Tip:

This image serves double duty as the focus of the card as well as a background image on the light pink strip.
